Nightlife: When the sun goes down the activity and energy level goes up. If you love dancing you may be excited to learn the Miami Herald described Punta Gorda as a place to put on your dancing shoes. The downtown area puts on the groove as day turns to night. 

Attractions: The streets of downtown are incredibly walkable and easy to enjoy. The weather is almost always friendly. Enjoy palm-lined streets as you pop in and out of locally owned and chain establishments. The waterfront of course is one of the main attractions. Punta Gorda is a popular spot for boating.
